This is an impressive FMCG business based in Essex, they are recruiting a 6-9 month contract to cover a high profile Commercial Finance Manager role. Business partnering Operational teams and managers this position will be responsible for a team of 4 high achieving qualified professionals in the delivery of quality and timely delivery of management information and analysis to support key business
decisions.
As Commercial Finance Manager the main purpose of the role will be to work closely with the commercial and operational teams to drive business growth, identify opportunities and risks. Providing analysis on financial performance, market trend analysis, profitability and pricing initiatives and continuously support key company initiatives and drive improvements in the provision of finance and management information.
Developing key business partner relationships throughout the business
Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes
KPI and performance reporting providing insightful analysis and commentary
Holding regular reviews with the operational Managers, providing financial support to decision making
Management of the provision of accurate and timely financial and management reporting
Financial and business modeling
Formulation and successful delivery of business planning and strategy
Budgeting and forecasting
Profitability analysis, investment appraisals and pricing
Financial and performance analysis with insightful commentary and recommendations
Proactive in growing the business and providing commercial recommendations
Working with other business units to facilitate best practice cross functionally
Management and development of a team of 3 qualified professionals
Successful candidates will be professionally qualified CIMA or ACA (ideally with first time passes), have a strong academic history and have commercial finance experience with in a FTSE 250 or FMCG business. Additional key criteria for successful applications include:

Staff management experience
International finance exposure
Strong analytical and interpretation skills
Experience of value adding financial information provision
Very good understanding of financial and management processes
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence Non Finance Managers
